Tried several goodies, nothing bad! Lemon bar was alright, the crust was more soft as opposed to shortbread style. Kougin-amann was good. Almond croissant was awesome, would buy again! Didn’t get any bread but it smelled awesome in there and sandwiches looked tasty. Staff were keeping things smooth while staying friendly and upbeat, great service especially for a Saturday!

What a lovely surprise to discover a bakery in Hurricane, UT that is the equivalent of one found in LA, New York, or Paris. They definitely know how to laminate their pastries perfectly. The Kouign-amann was flaky at the crown and chewy, caramelised at the base. The croissants starting with the plain (true test) had a perfect shell and layers. We ordered to go their pain au chocolat, the Tabernacle vanilla bean cream filled croissant topped with crumbles, and their almond croissant (fantastic texture, just personally on the sweeter side for me), as well as a baguette. They have takeaway sandwiches and salads which you can take to Springdale to picnic at Zion National Park when riding your e-bikes or to Kanab to lunch after sandboarding the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. Everything was delightfully yummy! Will definitely return when in the area.

The BEST bakery in Southern Utah! We have came here a few times when in the area and never disappoints. We always try a variety when we come but the croissants and cakes are our favorite. They also have a great brown sugar latte!

Absolutely great. Please go here! Vibes 100%. They were so nice and did not rush me to choose (there are SO many options!). Coffee 100%. My husband got an iced latte and I got their White Chocolate Orange Latte which was an amazing flavor combination. One of the most unique I have tried and don’t worry- it’s not too sweet or overbearing. The flavor is subtle and perfect. Pastries 100%. We basically selected at random and every one was phenomenal. Shout out to the banana tart which I didn’t expect to steal the show but totally did. They also threw in an extra as I mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary. Sandwiches 100%. The BLT is really like a caprese + bacon. SO GOOD.

Such a magical find during our weekend trip! We stopped later in the day and HAD to come back the next morning! So many delicious choices, so it was hard to choose just one. We easily spent $80 lol. The blueberry croissant was by far my favorite pastry. I loved the mixed berry croissant/donut, too! Friendly staff that recommended some selections, which did not disappoint. So glad we came across Bonrue! We will definitely stop in again on future adventures.

My dad and I were staying in Hurricane, and just before exiting town, I looked over and saw Bonrue. You can find a lot of baked goods around the parks, so it wasn’t something I jumped at initially. But after looking at their selection, I realized this might be something different. To echo another review, Bonrue is on par with what you’d find in Seoul or Paris (and maybe even better). There’s a nice selection, with many French pastries, croissant variations and some American classics with a European flair. Everything is beautifully displayed and organized and the taste truly lives up to the beauty. Even my dad, who doesn’t react to anything, exclaimed that we should cancel our flight and come back for another round 🤣 He got the donut and said he doesn’t normally like donuts but it was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside outstanding! I’m ALWAYS on the lookout for an almond croissant but I also got seduced into a key lime pie tarte😅 Both were subtly sweet, with an amazing crumbly, thick crust. I would’ve loved the croissant to be just a little flakier as it was a bit dense but the flavor and texture were still great. The woman helping us was extremely enthusiastic and engaging, taking the time to explain the pastries. Gosh, I wish I had this bakery near me. I’d love to see them have the reach of Paris Baguette or Tous Le Jours. They easily exceed the quality. I lived in La Verkin in 2020, and honestly, I would’ve been bankrupt if this place was around then. I think the cost is a teeny bit high but overall it’s justified. We spent about $20 for all 4. I’ll definitely be telling all my friends and family who visit about this gem.

Five stars. Trust me just stop. The staff was joyful, which is a breath of fresh air to see a group of people who don’t act like they hate being at work. Food was as good as you’ll find any bakery anywhere I’ve been. Worth it.

Visited this bakery for a quick breakfast. The lady who was working there was kindly enough to explain all the areas and specifics of the food on display. She was sweet and smiley. I decided to go with the “St George” which was great. We also got a Chocolate Croissant that was decent also. I liked the coziness of the place and the attentiveness when we said we were visiting the area. The coffee was good also. I recommend this place for a nice breakfast.

Saw this place on the way to some trails and decided to stop in. I like the farm chic look, and the display cases were impeccable--even at 8am! I like that they pull from the trays before pulling from the case. We got a box of goodies--both savory, and sweet. They threw in their best seller--a kouign-amann, for us to try. If I didn't have any self-control I would have gotten a few more. Everything was SPECTACULAR! The coffee had good roast, the sweets were not overly sweet, the pastries had beautiful lamination, the quiche was perfectly set and creamy...The flavors were completely out-of-this world! I'll have to find an excuse to come back to the area again...Just for Bonrue...

An amazing pastry shop that we visited twice while on vacation. It was so amazing the first time we had to come back. The amount of pastries made it hard to select only a few so we ordered nearly everything they had and split it up with our group. We got iced coffees which were equally as great. The second time we came we got chocolate cake which has a brownie bottom and the. Layers of frosting and cake. We also got salted honey iced coffees which we were warned might not be as sweet as the others we had the day before…after trying we agreed it wasn’t sweet enough but they provided amazing service and let us had a pump of syrup. Beyond the amazing food and drinks the space was very nicely done and food was served in beautiful pastry boxes. Place was busy even later morning on a weekday. Just wish we lived closer.
